How can osteopathy help you?

Osteopathy can be helpful in various situations. Before treatment, we will conduct a detailed anamnesis discussion with you. The anamnesis serves to obtain a comprehensive picture of your symptoms to adapt the osteopathic treatment to your individual needs. The anamnesis is followed by a physical examination during which we check the mobility of your joints, muscles, tissues, and other structures. Based on these examinations, we develop a treatment plan.

Osteopathy can help relief muscle and joint pain, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other painful conditions.

Using gentle techniques can improve joint mobility, which can help reduce stiffness and restore normal function to muscles and joints.

Osteopathy sees the body as a unit in which all structures are interconnected. After injuries or operations, osteopathy can help accelerate healing processes and support rehabilitation.

The body can develop physical symptoms due to stress and tension. Osteopathy can help release tension and blockages in the body, which in turn can improve blood circulation. Especially at neck, shoulders and back tension, which is often caused or aggravated by stress.

With the help of osteopathy, we can also provide you with positive support in treating tinnitus or digestive problems.

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a holistic form of manual medicine based on the idea that the body functions as a unit. Focus of treatment is the musculoskeletal system, the internal organs, the fascia (connective tissue) and other body tissue.

Osteopathy understands the body as a unit in which all structures are connected and must work together to ensure optimal health and function. It looks for blockages, functional restrictions or imbalances and tries to resolve these using gentle manual techniques. It also looks at the patient’s overall health and considers the role of diet, lifestyle and psychological well-being.

The aim of osteopathy is to promote the body’s natural self-healing powers and restore balance using parietal, visceral and craniosacral techniques, thereby improving the body’s function and mobility.

Osteopathy can be used to cure a large number of conditions, including back and joint pain, headaches, indigestion, breathing problems, muscle pain, and more.
